4 kids, 2 dogs and a husband....
Oh and....I'm a mom a wife a cheauffer a cook a laundromat,
housekeeper, cheerleader, Soccer Coach
and a teacher !
Exhausts me thinking about it...
God has been good and I know he's only given me what I can handle.
So 4 kids 2 dogs and a husband seems fitting right now...
Life is busy and will continue as each day goes by.
It's what I do with it that will make the difference.
My beautiful 12 year old just started 7th grade, we just got her first progress report straight A's! Doesnt happen without a lot of effort, she applies herself and works hard, has a lot of pride in her work and it shows. She loves Junior High, and is in her first year of pop warner cheer and enjoying every moment of it. Practice seems never ending and are only day's off are Thursday's and Sunday's, so its been a huge commitment. I was really torn with her making the decision to do cheer. It meant she was quitting soccer to do this... as both "sports" run during the same season.. Glad she has it's certainly brought her a new sense of self confidence. Our first competition is at the end of October ! She looks so cute in her cheer uniform !
Nicole...
Is 10 and in 5th grade......this is considered a transition year in elementary school and is where it gets tough ! Tay's always been my not much effort child...school has come easy for her.. always A's and doesn't have to try to go after it. Good thing becuase man is she's a stinker ! God's certainly tested me with patience when it comes this little beauty.... She's my heart, and my biggest advocate....and I love her dearly... We are waiting for cheer to end and Tay will go into either tumbling or gymnastics..I am really looking forward to watching her excel in it... She too has a lot of pride, and will no doubtly work extremely hard at it.
Lauren Rene...
Is 6 and just started 1st grade, she is a breath of fresh air and makes everyone in a room smile when she enters. Full of energy and a spirit that can't be broken... She's a talker (not sure who she got that from)
She's playing soccer again this year and mom is coach ! Can you believe it? I'm loving every minute of it, and enjoy being able to do this with her....She's my one with such a competitive streak....she's a go getter and doesnt quit.. In the years past she's been our top scorer and yet no goal this season...she's had some assists, and I am confident before the seasons up she'll have a few under her belt... Lauren too will transition from soccer into either gymnastics or tumbling...
My little man...........I love being a mom to a little boy it's so different ! Tommy is 4 and just started pre school. He attends the same Christian pre school that Lauren attended and has the same teacher. He's only going 2 days a week and I may look at increasing that for him. He loves it and looks forward to going. The teacher say's that he is so polite and shares well with the other kids. In fact he got the first series of awards giving out at school ! He's compasionate and listens very well ! What mom could ask for more ? Baseball starts in the spring and this will be his 2nd season. He loved his first season, and I am sure dad being assistant coach was a big help. Looks like coaching will be something dad will do again this year. Tommy still loves his hot wheels, riding his scooter and of course working on the cars in the garage with dad....I love that he's out there with him getting dirty and having fun.
Can't forget my two furry kids! Heidi.....She's dad's favortie and can do no wrong (even when she climbs up ON the counter to finish off a batch of brownies)!!!! Then there's Hannah.....she's only 5 months and still has a lot to learn ! We call her Bear.....she's a sweetheart and the kids adore her !
Tom and I just celebrated our 11 year wedding anniversary ! Hard to believe in just 11 years we've accomplished all of this. Some of my greatest accomplishments... I look back at this day, and laugh....to think we would have all of this in the years to come. We've done so much in these years we've been together...So much more to look forward to in watching our little ones grow...
